His background includes international and high-profile projects with global brands, including Ikea Canada, KRAFT Heinz Canada, Canadian Tire, Cineplex, LCBO, Converse Canada, CBC, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment and Cadillac Fairview, to name a few. He launched Coolab (formerly CITIZENS AND COLLABORATORS) with the goal of forming a collective of the best design & creative talent from various disciplines to create inspiring and impactful environments and experiences. Clayton believes ideas are best brought to life through teamwork and collaboration, a principle that underscores all of his client relationships and has proven to be one his biggest assets.
Barb Matheson | Managing Director Barb is a communicator by trade with a stellar combination of knowledge & experience in marketing, PR, strategy and communications amassed via more than 18 years in the entertainment industry. Having led projects & teams both large and small - from hugely succesful film campaigns to pop-up exhibits and A-list talent tours - Barb brings to Coolab a passion & knack for creative ideas that deliver fantastic results. Prior to entering the design world she spent nearly 10 years leading Walt Disney Studios Canada’s publicity & promotions efforts where she created and executed the national publicity & promotions strategies for some of the biggest film releases of all time, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Marvel’s The Avengers, Frozen and Beauty and the Beast, to name just a few. Prior to that she worked with Eone Films, Alliance Films and CHUM Limited.
